Installation Instructions

(1) The sizing belt of the pickling die is the core and the key to stable pickling and stretching. The length of the sizing belt should be 1 ~ 5mm according to the size of the aperture, and the surface roughness value of the sizing belt is less than 0.2μm, otherwise it is easy to increase the tension, pull off and scratch the surface of the profile due to the roughness of the surface of the scalping die.
 

(2) The edge Angle of the peeling die generally α value is 12 ~ 30°, α Angle is too small the edge is not sharp, α Angle is too large, the edge strength is not enough, easy to produce the edge of the block, shorten its life. Generally copper, brass, white copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metal pipe rod with an α Angle of 30° is appropriate, generally black metal with an α Angle of 15° is appropriate.

(3) The function of the α Angle of the outer edge of the peeling die is: first, to reduce the movement resistance of scraping crumbs and facilitate the removal of chips; Second, the surface roughness of the outer cutting edge should be less than 0.2μm to minimize its friction resistance.

(4) The peeling amount of the peeling die is generally 0.1~0.2mm, and the peeling amount is too thick to damage the cutting edge of the mold and waste the material to be scraped; Too little pickling is easy to pick up or unilateral phenomenon.

(5) The installation of the peeling die should be firm, the cutting edge of the die is perpendicular to the drawing direction, and ensure that the drawing center is concentric.
